The pool depth ranges from 0’ to 18’ deep while the surrounding grassy hillside is ideal for individuals to lounge and sunbathe.
For over 10 years, Austin Parks Foundation has brought movies to neighborhood parks all across Austin. This free series of films is known as Movies in the Park and is wonderful free outdoor entertainment! When the movie begins at dusk, huddle up with friends and family on the hill or float in the 600,000 gallon concrete pool while enjoying a film on the big screen.
Grab your family, friends, dogs and blankets and head over to Zilker Park for a classic Austin event. KGSR’s Blues on the Green is a free concert series of homegrown music in a relaxed atmosphere where individuals can sprawl out and enjoy food and cold beverages while listening to the sounds of live music.
Your little ones will love to experience the magic of the arts at the Austin Symphony Children’s Day Art Park! In their brand new Austin Central Library location, you can enjoy the live music in a cool environment away from the Texas heat with local musicians, dancers, storytellers and more.
